At how many demerit points do you lose your licence in Ontario?
In Ontario, fully licensed (G) drivers face a mandatory 30-day suspension at 15 demerit points. G2 and G1 drivers face suspension at 6 and 9 points respectively. Commercial drivers have different rules: a 30-day suspension triggers at 15 points. At 9–14 points (full licence), the MTO sends a warning letter requiring a meeting.
